Info Deep-sea explorer Brock Lovett has reached the most famous shipwreck of all - the Titanic. Emerging with a safe believed to contain a diamond called "The Heart of the Ocean", he discovers the safe does not hold the diamond but a drawing of a beautiful woman wearing it. When Brock is later interviewed on TV, he shows the drawing to the cameras, and a 100-year-old woman named Rose Calvert living in Michigan recognizes the woman in the drawing - herself! On a visit to Brock"s explorer ship over the wreck, Rose tells her story of the Titanic and its ill-fated voyage. Engaged to a would-be steel magnate, Caledon Hockley, she boards the Titanic"s first-class suites with him and her mother in Southampton. Also boarding are Jack Dawson and his best friend Fabrizio De Rossi, after a lucky poker game wins them tickets in steerage. When Rose attempts suicide by jumping off the stern in third-class, Jack pulls her back onto the ship... and a bond is forged between them as Jack is invited by her into first-class the following day. Rose"s mother and Caledon Hockley try desperate measures to keep them apart. But that strategy goes out the window when the Titanic collides with an iceberg, and due to a design flaw begins to sink - despite being proclaimed "unsinkable". Now Rose and Jack must fight to stay alive, but is young Jack already doomed because of his lower status as a steerage passenger?

Titanic Im unstoppable even unsinkable 4 days later. ??. Bada-bing bada-boom - that"s exactly what we"re looking for Stands up, looks at watch, and claps hands together Right, I call that beer o"clock. Come on, it"s happy hour. I"m buying. Ha ?????? titanic ship drowend now jack is died bow rose not died. Wouldnt it be neat if the Titanic didn"t sink. People boarding the titanic in the movie: “God cant even sink this ship” God: Challange accepted. Dudes watching November 2019. Intro created by panzoid huh. The video seems really good and interesting.

This movie really was made 23 years ago and has some of the best visuals I have ever seen

This is so intresting. James was the BEST FILM SOUNDTRACK COMPOSER EVER. The film is amazing, and his music makes it even better. I love the Southampton, leaving port, and take her to sea soundtracks the best. They all capture this majestic feeling no other music can capture. When Titanic 2 sails, theyd better be playing this music lol. I hope that the ship will someday be a reality, and seeing this scene makes me keep hoping that someday we will be able to walk on the ship of dreams. Edit: Considering I can watch this scene almost every day, and still feel like Im hearing the music and seeing the scene for the first time says a lot.

Titanic sinking was one of the worst tragedies ever. R.I.P. for 1500 people that lost lives that night... Spoilers! Ah Titanic, the most expensive movie of all time - and the most overrated. Let"s look at the ingredients:

• An incredibly trite love story. The "romance" in this film comes off like a dumbed-down version of Romeo and Juliet, but with Extra Added Cliche(tm. As tales of forbidden love go, this one is pretty boilerplate and pandering. Rose"s fiance is a smarmy twit so we don"t mind that she screws around on him - wouldn"t want to make the audience uncomfortable or challenge them in any way. If you want to see a film with the same sort of "forbidden love" scenario, but with exponentially better execution, you just have to look at the previous year"s Best Picture recipient. The English Patient. li>

 

• Incredibly dull performance by the lead actors. Honestly, I"ve seen high school productions of Romeo and Juliet where the leads made you care more about the characters than Winslet and DiCaprio do in Titanic. In fact, the best performances of the film come from the supporting cast - especially Kathy Bates, Billy Zane, and James Warner. At least neither of the leads won Oscars.

 

• Just plain annoying story. Perhaps the most irritating part of this film is the endless scenes (at least, they felt endless) sequence where Rose rescues Jack and they"re trying to escape from the bowels of the ship. And what happens next? Jack dies. When I saw this in theaters, there were people crying at this point - but all I could think about was how pointless the previous sequence was. Cameron just wasted 25 minutes showing us their harrowing escape when he"s just gonna die 5 minutes later?

The only saving grace of this film are the visual effects, but (as George Lucas has proven) no amount of CGI eye-candy can make a mediocre film good.
That Titanic was ever made is proof of the low opinion mainstream film makers have of their audience"s intelligence. And Titanic"s success is proof that that low opinion is justified.

 

I wonder if they"ll be doing CGI recreations of the Twin Towers falling 2119 ending it with Bada-bing dada-boom, that"s how they went down. I just clicked this to see the history of the Titanic. My favorite movie ed it 2x standing in movie house,and countless times in television... leonardo is soo good in this movie. I really hope it comes back to the cinemas soon. My friend"s grand grand father have also sailed on titanic but he want to stops in france because of some problem. when he saw newspaper about titanic sunks he really cried for few mins & says that was a close call. For proof my friend shows me the ticket of titanic of Second class.
